That's a fair point.

Not sure that would be enough to encourage him to leave London after building Fulham up to a good competitive standard.

Forest haven't got the squad to cope with EL/all comps as it is and the season had already started with his plans in motion for fulham.

Maybe massive wages could have tempted him, I suppose, but still can't see it.

Just can't picture the move.

Nothing about that feels right, or probable, to me.

Their squad is deeper than Palace’s. Fulham didn’t do much in the summer, bet he’s a bit pissed at the club.
 
Forest fans are optimistic ahead of their game against the chavs.

Not so sure about that...why would neutrals give a flying about whether Forest sold us one of their players or not. The bigger issue is how they behaved by writing to EUFA re Palace etc and why most fans hope they come a cropper in Europe.

Not fully fair - he's only really resigned from 2 jobs (Olympiacos and Hull, the latter when they got relegated) neither of which I think is unusual or unfair. He has been sacked twice for bizarre reasons tho - from Sporting for not wearing a suit at a game (lol) and from Watford for being approached by Everton (where he was sacked).
I think this is his 4th season at Fulham now.

He walked on Watford for Everton, regardless of the official ending there.
I thought he'd done it somewhere else but maybe I was wrong.
