He walked on Watford for Everton, regardless of the official ending there.
I thought he'd done it somewhere else but maybe I was wrong.

Perhaps thinking of Hull, as he was parachuted in on a 5 month contract to try and save them. He was seen as the 'next AVB' at the time and did well there considering the circumstances, so no doubt he might have walked anyway if his contract was longer, but it was the end of his contract anyway

The Everton/Watford thing was a bit weird, but I don't think it was Silva's "fault" in that sense. They said no to Everton, then the team went on a run of bad form so they (Watford) sacked him anyway. That is very much part of a 'Pozzo' way of doing things as they seem to hire a manager for each new season of weather, instead of each footballing season.

Can someone explain to me why these weird fans thought Marco Silva was ever going to leave Fulham to go to their scrubby club?

It's so strange.

So many of them had come up with this brainwave and are even mentioning it again, now.

Bonkers stuff.

Forest fans think because they won the second hardest to win European trophy 40+ years ago a couple of times, before football changed fundamentally, they are a "big club".

They are nothing of the sort.

Nottingham is about as big as one of the 30+ London Boroughs. It's tiny. Their stadium is crap. They don't win any trophies. Their ceiling isn't that high either. Palace is as big a club, more successful, has a better academy, will soon have a better stadium, has better home fans, and has more growth potential. And they talk about how they might get Glasner!

Lol.

Yeah, it was about three hours after the game and as you say it’s about 15 minutes drive (if that) from the city centre.

It looked like there were only a few people onboard (coaches / support staff) rather than it being full of players.
You know, that's just what I thought it might be - but don't let that get in the way of us giving Ange yet another good slagging-off.

I mean.......be careful with that criteria.
64 years since we won a title.
34 years since we won an FA Cup
5 months since we won a European trophy that was against mostly farmers and part timers.

What makes them small isn't that they haven't won a "major" trophy for 40+ years, it's that they have been a lower league team for most of the intervening years IMO.

Marinakis has fucked it....... Their best players will all want out now.

Poundshop Pavarotti cunt.

Let's get Anderson in the summer.
