Ex-Spurs Player Oliver Skipp

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

More than £20M for Skippy is a very good deal for us. Odd that their midfield will be him and Winks soon...

Did extremely well at Norwich on loan and never really let us down, always 100% commitment. Hope he smashes it there

Good move for all parties really.

First team football for Skipp at a level that is his imo. Good fee for us and Leicester get a good young player that certainly improves their chances of staying up.

Whilst he's not the calibre of player we need, there is a good player in there and he'll suit a team like Leicester. £20m+ is great for us, Leicester get a solid young player and he gets first team football in the top flight.

Cracking move all round. Good luck to the lad.

To compare with our own players, Lo Celso for example. I read that we will sell him for 13m.

Skipp doesn't have a higher level in him so what you pay for now is as good as it's going to get. If they invest for the championship, that makes sense but don't pay 20m + for a mediocre championship level player I'd say. However, fantastic business from us to capitalize on their desperation.

Homegrown players will always go at a premium.

Lo Celso also doesn't really have a market, Euro clubs can't afford him so his price will always be cheap.

Wish him all the best and that he really kicks on (unless playing against us.. ;) ). No one could criticise his enthusiasm and work ethic. Really think this is the best move for both Him and the Club

Another in the long list of 'promised a lot but delivered little':
Bentaleb, Mason, Carroll, Winks, and now Skipp.
Good luck to him at Leicester but they seem to have bought the same player twice ( Winks and Skipp).
