Gets a fair bit of stick but you've got to be really good player (in comparison to your average footballer) to make 100 appearance for your boyhood club after coming through the ranks.

It's not stick he got but years of frustration.

Stick is for the likes of the still here Lo Celso and the biggest waste of space Ndombele.

Either way, now consigned to history.
 
Best of luck to the guy. He gave everything out there and is Spurs through and through.

But it's time for us both to move on. Spurs need better. And he needs to play.

It's a great deal for us both.

I don't think Ange will sell him. Likely Skippy knows he needs to play and be assured of game time, which Ange really couldn't promise him.

I'm glad he chose to leave in order to play. He deserves even more respect now.
