This is the best league in the world lets not get it twisted, Liverpool will reach the CL and finish in the top 8 quite easily next season, Bournemouth, Brentford and Brighton would qualify in the top 16 quite easily as well (We finished 4th in the group stage with terrorist Frank), football as a whole has dropped off across the board not just in the Premier League.

I think only PSG of the current teams would stand the test against some of the better teams of the past, more so last year's version than this.

Yeah I agree that elite football as a whole has gone to shit outside of PSG, Barca and Bayern and they also have their deficiencies. The fact that this Woolwich team stormed the UCL group and are about to make the final, as well as a really poor Dortmund making it to the UCL final 2 years ago and as you said our frank team finishing 4th shows how lacking in quality it is.

I think they are a club who can beat us regardless, but to be motivated in a big way they won't b, unless the media stoke it up.
