On spec there's no reason to expect Brighton in Europe; finishing ahead of the likes of Spurs, Chavs, Newcastle, WH.
What's more cringe is when their fans have been booing them when in lesser periods of form, despite unprecedented highs over the last 5 years or so.

Purely because we've been feeding off criticism all day about daring to celebrate/be vaguely happy about NOT going down...

Any decent English team can win either of the non CL competitions. Any actually good one should do.
Although it’s the same colours, it feels more wham/Burnley to me. Years back they had a fabulous away kit of white shirts with very fine and spaced out claret pin stripes and claret shorts. Appealed to my 1980s burgundy phase I had (which I have yet to get out of).

Also, think I'd rather got to Germany for a Final then Istanbul. Strange the ECL has a better venue for the Final, think we were fortunate the EL was in Bilbao last year.
