That says W/T was 84% in 2019 and 105% in 2020. What's worrying when they have a billionaire owner willing to both spend at that level and assume that risk? And he'd spend more if FFP wasn't constraining him because of the club's limited profile. And I bet if they get CL they will just spend even more not just sit back and say "phew, our bills are paid".
Firstly those are not the numbers of a prudent business, which is what this is all about. It is a business losing money largely because it looks as if it is spending far too much. You're right it looks as if the owner has assumed a huge amount of debt in 2020. Not sure what that is about. It is obviously not sustainable. The EBITDA is shocking. This is football so who cares right?
I would say it is worrying because circumstances change. If the business doesn't work unless a billionaire owner is propping it up, then things can get messy.

You are taking that terminology too literally to make your point. Implied in that we are talking about prudent Football business. If their owners aren't into it to make money but rather for sporting success for the broader business goal (how about being the loss leader for visit Thailand, or whatever sports washing thing) then that is fine. Only ENIC and their ilk buy football teams to make money.

Exactly. Can't imagine Leicester forums are up in arms about thier W/T. And we wouldn't be round these parts either if we hadn't been conditioned to be concerned about net spend and all the other penny pinching things to explain away our lack of on-field success.

Folks been saying this since 2004. How's that worked out for our trophy cabinet? On the flipside of your point if the billionaire owner willing to spend stays around they could be Chelsea or City. Leicester don't seem to have anything to worry about here. Info is cool to know but Leicester won't be 'doing a Leeds' anytime soon.

You’ve gone and ruined the fucking punch line for the todster now you silly man.

He’d mentally spent those Internet forum points.
So much effort to not answer 1 simple question...would be shameful for a man with a lesser tolerance. You must have some skin in this game (Ooo, I gotta find it).

And if you're gonna talk about me, around me then you're gonna have to do it with someone whose posts I can see to really make your passive-aggressive point...or you could just answer the one simple question BC (or the other if you prefer but I imagine you wouldn't :allitongue:). Phil Foden, great young player or the greatest young player?

And just to help you out...Poch!!!!! Just in cast you decide you have to mention him you can say I said it first (we will disregard your previous mention).

I didn't ruin it. You were never going to answer it. He's been asking you that question for a long time now. We all know what he is driving at, and though your reply referencing Gary Neville gave me the biggest laugh I have had all day, we know why you won't answer the question.

There is nothing left now, except for us to fling merde at each other. So, let's get on with it.

I love how Pep was buttering up the Potdog this season but as soon as he loses him and his team act like the childish little cunts they are and start wagging their fingers at Potter like he did something wrong by beating them.

Don't know why they were complaining, gave away a stupid red and then were totally dominated the rest of the game barring a few moments of individual brilliance.

Apparently Potter "celebrated too much" and Lillo (Pep's assistant) blew a gasket.

Lillo would have hated Conte.

Brendan is overrated manager that is still living off Claude Puel's hard work.
I know part of the fun round here is making wild statements. Rodgers is doing a great job. He's a good manager, but I don't think he is an elite coach. The flaws in his coaching were on show again for me last night, especially in terms of the lack of quality in Leicester's pressing. It is so easy to smash their press. It's so disorganised.

The current Leicester team is Puel's team just like their title winning team was Pearson's team, Brenda might have done a little tweaking here and there but their current style and identity was instilled by Claude Puel.

More unknown knowns from you. He's asked it me once in the middle of a completely different argument we were having that wasn't going so well and then again yesterday.

Maybe if he asked me the question he really wants to ask, and stopped fucking around, I would stop fucking around, or do you really think he wants the opinion of a coward, fake knowitall on the footballing merits of Phil Foden?

I do think there is something in what you are saying about Rodgers not being one of the game's great thinkers. What was Puel's style of play when he was there? All I can remember is he got a lot of criticism for playing dull football?

Pound for pound, Leicester shouldn't really be making the likes of us, Chelsea, Liverpool, Woolwich and Everton sweat so much, should they? Would you give Rodgers any credit at all?
