Fantastic for Trips, he deserves it.

Showed up all of our idiotic fans who were hating on him during his last season with us. The two donkeys we have playing his position now are not fit to lace his boots, he never deserved the vitriol he got for struggling through injury to try and help the team. Reached a CL final with us and now has a Liga winners medal, meanwhile we’ve still got Serge Aurier giving away dumb fouls to cost us a cup final. Showed exactly why Poch trusted a half-fit Trippier over that moron.
Do you remember his last season ? Hideously bad. Never forget the OG v Chavs away. Good for him, but he was the worst player in our squad when we reached the CL Final. A liability to say the least.

A bad season does not make him a bad player. Even the best players can have a bad season, especially when struggling with injury like Trippier did.

It is strange how fancy signings like Ndombele and Lo Celso are allowed to be shit for two years but a British player like Trippier gets dogs abuse for one bad season. Not replacing him and putting our trust in Serge is one of the dumbest things we’ve ever done.

When were they shit for two years because they certainly haven't been the two years they have been here.

Huge Congrats to Simeone and Atletico - just when things were starting to look stale in 2018-19, the higher-ups decided to support it's long-tenured Argentine coach who had already shown he could improve them, with an aggressive squad rebuild whilst moving into a new stadium.

Funny that.

Honestly I don't think there's could be a better team to be a fan of than Atletico Madrid right now, winning the title is sweet enough, but doing it by beating your hated city arch-rivals must be orgasmic.
