Don't think so. As FightingIllini FightingIllini pointed out, it's just the GK being clumsy and hoping he gets away with one there by pretending to be fouled.

On another note, that would be an unlucky red on Cresswell. His foot bounces off the ball and into Henderson. Proper 50/50 decision.
The tackle was over the ball and a scissor tackle. Very bad.

Also you try catching or punching a ball when defenders hit your arms. It’s impossible and should be a foul. Attackers should be playing the ball, not the goalkeepers arms.

When I first saw it I thought it was lucky, but I'm sure the slow mo showed the boy actually kept his wits about him and it looked deliberate, despite being shoved off his stride, no?
This is all I got to go on my man. And on subsequent viewing it may look less 'lucky'. Wish I had an alternate angle.

If I've seen that right I thought it was brilliant, especially in light of of the careless shite we're getting from our 35m desperate bag of limbs.
...and you thought Walker was bad. That's what you get BC!!!! You brought it on yourself. At least our Kyle had 100% control of his limbs at all times.

And just because you didn't recognize his genius doesn't mean others didn't. Even the Bad Gones are coming around to the fact that they had a good thing going and let it go.

One season 10 games does not mean they a better run club than spurs.

It doesn't, no. But I don't think this is a fluke, and if I had to put money on it I'd go for them to finish above us this season as well. They look a better all round unit, and Conte coming in mid-season isn't ideal for him.

They may not be 'well run' as an overall club, but on a football level they have a structure to them and they're a side who teams don't relish playing. We still have work to do just to catch up on that.

They have been well coached thanks to Moyes...... Very different to the notion that they are a well run club.

They made an absolute pigs-ear of their stadium move and fucked the financial benefits up the wall. As recently as the begining of last season they were dispised by the bulk of their fanbase... Even now there are a cross-section that refuse to go to games.

I didn't say they were well run tbf, just felt the 'it's been 10 games' thing was a bit off since they had a full season above us. At this point I think it's time to admit that as a team, they are better than us. We all expect Conte to change that but that's the reality right now.

But yeah, lots of shit wrong with them as a club. End of the day a good managerial appointment can cover a lot of failings. See Liverpool when Klopp were appointed and us under Poch. Moyes works so perfectly with West Ham, it's a match made in heaven. Fans of bigger clubs would be grumbling about the style of play.

No, noted..... Just that that's the opening narrative being countered/explored.

This is absolutely true.....

Looks like Villa are going to get Gerrard in. And Rangers are looking to replace him with Russel Martin at Swansea.

It must be weird being Swansea. On one hand you constantly have to change managers, but more often than not it is because they are doing a good job and get recruited to bigger jobs. Which says something about how Swansea are run.
