Soucek has goals in him and could do the PEH roles in league cup and EL fixtures

Rice isn’t coming here. Our brand needs time to rebuild

We need to rebuild with technically gifted footballers. One of our biggest issues in recent years has been our players collective inability to receive a pass and distribute the ball quickly. We play at slow motion & look clunky/predictable as hell because of it.

(Part of that is coaching, part of it is personnel like Dier & Hojbjerg. But we don’t need more of that.)

Another midfielder whose first touch is a tackle and who relies on blood n' thunder? Nah ... I mean he's a useful footballer for mid to low level teams due to his physicality and energy, but we need to be aiming a lot higher.

Rice is the midfielder worth picking up from them ... unfortunately he wouldn't ever come here.

If Rice “dominated” Partey last week, is it fair to say he’s been totally dominated by Dacoure today?

How the fuck have West Ham got three goals out of this game the jammy cunts.

Palace have totally outplayed them. Palace have really good. Aggressive and cohesive without the ball, dominated possession and taken risks to play vertically.

I haven’t watched the game, so wouldn’t have a clue. I assume he’s having a poor game.

He’s been anonymous. Like a lot of games. Like he was against Hojbjerg the magnificent.

He’s still absolute class

Nah. He’s ok. On a good day he’s good. He’s no Casimiro, never will be.

and nailed on for a big team move in the summer.

As long as it’s not us. I don’t mind.

He’ll go elsewhere and be class and start every week just like Grealish is right now … and when he’s doing that you’ll still underplay him, like you are with Grealish right now.

No, he’ll go somewhere, be ok and you’ll call him world class every week, like you do with Grealish. Neither are shit, both are ok, good sometimes, but not as good as your hype.

Yeah lots of ‘just ok, good sometimes’ players are nailed on starters every single week for Manchester City. Pep does love to tolerate mediocrity!

Even the likes of Mahrez/Foden (even when in form!) were subject to Pep roulette, but not Grealish. Almost likes he’s offering the team something priceless, and not just being OK.

And you don’t need to listen to my hype, you just have to go and see City fans waxing lyrical over him, and since they are subjected to quite a lot of world class footballers I’d imagine you’d have to do quite well to get that kind of praise.

Is that West Ham back in the mix?

In fairness the term class and world class are bandied about very loosely these days. Rice and grealish are very good players. Not class def not world class.
