You make some good points but I'm fairly certain all of that was due to Benz being good or the fear of Benz being so good...it's the sheer threat that he carries, Deuterz...not to mention...

Both been a similar level of shit tbh... I think they generally rotate after one has a terrible game so Matip will be back in, probably be crap, and then Gomez returns. Konate is their only good CB other than VVD but crocked.

Slightly off topic but Liverpool have a lot riding on getting top 4 ... think Bellingham & a few other top players are on the cards to reinforce but if not they'll have to shop in the bargain basement. Trickier.

77 min I can’t believe I’m saying this, but if Liverpool can make this 5-3 they won’t be totally out of the tie. Real almost blew a two-goal first-leg lead at home to Chelsea last year, after all. Then again, they didn’t actually blow it, so I’m not sure what my point is.
