That game was a disgrace on so many levels. Downright abject some of the things we witnessed, especially Rudiger...what a thundercunt.
Real & Barca are both shitty institutions that got well dodgy practices. But there's always been that narrative fabricated by the media that Real = evil and Barca = angels. That was even more pronounced when Barca had Messi and Real had Ronaldo. The number of clasicos I watched and seen Sergio Ramos sent off whilst Busquets, Pique or Alves got away with murder is ridiculous. It's also Barca who got caught with their hands in the cookie jar, paying refs millions of euros for supposed consultancy services. Let's not even talk about how they avoided bankruptcy...
I really dislike Real, their sense of entitlement, how they go after refs when they get so many decisions (especially in Europe), can't stand the sight of Florentino Perez and I think Mbappe is a right prick. But I loathe Barca that little bit more, yes. That being said, I can still judge a game based on what I see on the pitch and leave personal feelings out of it. I'm not 12.
