I always find players like this interesting. They don't have any real footballing ability or IQ, but because of their athleticism they continue to get chances at the highest level.
They probably think he's a nice option to have on the bench and he can certainly be useful in certain (parts of) matches and he also brings something different in terms of insane pace and power (always keeps a couple of defenders busy), but as you said he is also very limited in other aspects.
On his day a nightmare to play against though.

Traore is dog shit, Had a couple of months where he looked a big threat some time ago but it was just a purple patch, and he soon went back to the clumsy oaf we all know. Take away his pace and strength and he would be playing for Chester FC.
Although it remains to be seen how he does in a better league, he has far more natural ability than Keita.

Release clauses are for Spanish clubs only, they would need to give the player the cash to pay the club and then tax is on it. Normally the Spanish club accepts the fee from a non Spanish buying club but they don't have toApparently he had a release clause of £30m
