That’s incompetence which would put our own to shame .. why the hell would they keep Moyes around then ?!

No idea sounds like they got a German Klopp style DoF and someone Liverpool reportedly looked at while West Ham kept an old fashioned British warlord manager in Moyes.

So their ideas of players are probably wildly different.

Apparently the DOF wants to use their U23s to spark a rebuilt and spend in a similar vein; whilst Moyes wants to blow all the money on stodgy EPL vets like Maguire, McTominay & JWP.

Weeeeeellllllllll, just putting it into the universe......

Then why keep Moyes?

I’m so confused.

Personally reckon they will sack him at some point.

Sullivan is a fool thank god, they got everything right to win the conference thing but it masked the underlying issues at that club which is much worse than us.

I mean they finished 14th, sold Rice and haven’t bought anyone. To make their new guy work they will need a manager who plays football more like Klopp.

Funny thing about the conference league win is that it happened in a season they fell apart in. They'd look quite well ran the few years prior .. EL semi final, high league finishes etc. Truth is they were playing prehistoric football but results were working out.

They then spent serious money on some very highly rated players round Europe and it went south. Feels like they don't know whether to shit or get off the pot in terms of do we stick with Moyes who has had success, or take a risk on trying to actually play a bit. It can go either way.

Money in the bank from winning that ECL cup probably.......

Perhaps it's more of a burden than a blessing.

............Does one call that Spammy?

That's nuts though. Didn't they even extend his contract, or did I imagine that?

You don't hire a DoF who is at completely at odds with the coach. You either accept Moyes has credit in the bank and go with what he wants, or you give him a big thank-you cheque and he easily finds another job. Meanwhile you go about with the new philosophy planned.

I don't know, sounds like something I could see someone doing...
