A sensible transfer fee. At last. All these £50m transfers for fairly average or just above average PL players this window are all just a bit silly.
26 caps for Croatia, seems to come from decent stock club history wise, 27 so plenty of years left on the clock but not a kid either...

I've neither seen nor heard of this guy before but for £2.5m I'd bet my house on him being at least solid and valued at 10x that this time next year.

Didn't we pay £3.5m for Ramon Vega back in the 90s???

However, I'm struggling to understand the Douglas Luiz mystery. If he's had an excellent performance in the Premier League, how is it possible to have such a terrible season in Serie A? On the other hand, Napoli's McTominay has been exceptional, yet at the beginning it seemed like he could be worse... Can you help me understand?

Now Juventus wants to sell and Tudor has given him zero space at the World Cup

Who has excelled at Juve recently apart from Kenan, must be a terrible environment and culture to play in at the moment

Can't be that good when McTominay is one of the leagues best players. The likes of Juventus, AC Milan and even AS Roma are pale shadows of the teams they used to be.

Well yeah obviously but it's still a good league to watch, much more even and competitive than the Prem and La Liga

There's something romantic about Modric and De Bruyne playing for top clubs over there, something of a throwback even if they are both past their primes.
