I’m not even that high on Gyokeres but at some point you have to respect the sheer goalscoring record. And he does better for Sweden than Isak. It’s an upgrade on the shite they had up top last season for sure.
It's an upgrade sure seeing as they didn't have an out and out striker but a questionable one i.m.o
They got him for a decent price so even if he doesn't work out they should get over 50% back what they paid.

He's an absolute no brainer for any team who was looking for a striker this summer. Has performed in the biggest moments for Sporting and has dragged them over the line all my himself on various occasions. Porto/Benfica/Braga most the CL games he's played he's performed at a really high level but you've got people who think all he does is bag against Farense and Gil Vicente.
Scored 1 goal (a penalty) against Porto, Benfica and Braga in 6 league games this season.
Scored 31 (10 penalties) against the bottom 11 clubs in Portugal.
You still get 3 points for a win against teams that are not those 3 and I’m pretty sure his goals got them the points.
