I have to say what is the point of a contract in modern football?

Apparently you can have 3 years left (Isak) be told by Newcastle that you aren't for sale at any price, be an absolute shit cunt by not reporting for the clubs tour and demanding a move. So what really is the point?

This is a scenario where the club should hold all of the cards. But realistically they are going to have to sell and they aren't going to get anywhere near the £150m they value him at because he's basically showing Newcastle he is willing to go on strike to get his move.
I suspect he will go for around £95-£100m

MGW also leaks his buy out clause and then alledgedly has a medical and agrees terms with us despite us not having asked Forest for permission.

I don't have any sympathy for footballers any more tbh, they are on obscene wages even the lowest paid in the PL.

It's all part and parcel of why I'm beginning to detest modern top flight football.

Isak has 3 years left on his contract.

I would tell him to fcuk off if I were Newcastle, and not even set a figure for his services.

I wonder what people make of him and Newcastke, because it sounds to close to downing tools to me, and where are those nane-chzngers who cite Newcastle's new standing?

This is where a player needs to be put back in his box and show loyalty.

No chance Isak heads to Madrid, unless they are trying to compile every world class player that's a slightly left sided forward. Mbappe is great obviously but having Vinicius there and Rodrygo (who's better off the left) has left their frontline lopsided.

Newcastle been proper humbled this Summer, Huijsen, Delap, Mbeumo, Pedro and Eketike all turned them down and Isak now wants to leave.
