I like Gordon, seems a decent guy, loved hearing him talk about how much he idolised Son last summer. Hope he does well out there. Clever of Barca to agree the fee before he wins the world cup.

Or or...hear me out he could replace Gallagher for Spurs. Its an idea?Vitinha? Could do with some class in the middle of the pitch ever since Modric and Kross left. Send that self centered garbage, Bellingham, to Saudi

I thought Perez was quoted for saying it wasn't Olise (or Haaland)
He wants to work, turned their season around, when it looked hopeless. It's ridiculous that he wouldn't be offered the job if he wanted it, he's earned that much.![]()
Celtic manager search: Martin O'Neill agrees to take job on permanent basis after Dermot Desmond talks
Celtic won a domestic double under Martin ONeill after he returned to the club; the 74-year-old took over on an interim basis from Brendan Rodgers and then replaced Wilfried Nancy until the end of last season; Celtic also held talks with Robbie Keane over the rolewww.skysports.com
Ridiculous in my opinion.
I know we don't do politics on here, and this is somewhat different to the wider piece, but I think a retirement age of 65 - 68 should be inplace, and probably with a slightly higher state pension. I know a lot of people still feel fit and able but that's a very different debate.
Much as there is this belief that older workers don't block the paths of the young, I think there is a really big issue with older workers, who society need to try and find ways to keep entertained, outside of filling the job spaces/opportunities the young need to be occupying.
And I know, I know. O'Neil signing as manager of Celtic is different but he is doing it because he is bored and needs a purpose, and whilst a fair number of older workers will say they are doing it for money, I remain somewhat unconvinced about that argument.
I expect this post to be deleted but it's off my chest.
