Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

You'd have to seriously question the fans who were chanting "wanker" to Son after the game. This is a player who's performed well for us for over a decade and has never entertained the idea of leaving Spurs even when he was way too good for us. He's declined and prob shouldn't be a starter anymore but he should always be a legend and never deserves abuse
Well said.

It's the same principle.

The miners didn't go into work protesting and complaining every day until they were faced with an existensial threat.

I was trying to help Shady understand why supporters get annoyed and express their disatisfaction mainly when the team lose.

It's completely different really though. Like I get your point but no fan should be feeling an existential threat from having to go through this. No ones job or life is on the line, because of this. Supporters familes arent going to be affected by spurs doing badly. It's frustrating, upsetting and not want any supporter wants to go through but having a shit season.... I would hope that folks are OK.

I look at Lewis and Levy ,(or at least my perception of them) and feel they 100% are going nowhere . Therefore any protest unless it turns threatening or even violent is going to have no effect . I have zero interest of being involved in wasting my time on a futile protest , however I am definitely not interested in violent and or threatening behaviour .
Spurs fans are trapped in the ultimate catch 22 , to shift them will take the kind of behaviour any decent person should not countenance. So we are trapped unless…….

The only other thing that shifts them is a sale at a no doubt inflated price. Therefore we will need them to sell to scumbags with more money than sense , or some party with a sports washing agenda ,

Not very palatable whichever way you look at it
The asking price for a downward spiralling football club will be affected by visible protests and unrest.

It's more than that. Majority of the income/value is related to marketing - league broadcasts and commercial. Have to bring the Q score of the club down - stop following socials, stop reading articles, stop watching matches, just turn your back on the club.

Might just find out happiness still exists in the world, too.

You’re right of course but that’s what’s makes a little bit of me think
“ what if we actually did get relegated” ?

We won’t be ; but wouldn’t that light a whole keg of gunpowder under the whole ENIC project?

Seriously it would take something as cataclysmic as that to get ENIC focused on what actually puts meals on their table . I.e a football club ( and more importantly) it’s supporters - and the commercial revenue that they drive.

In a way I think it’s a shame it won’t happen ( this year ) .

I just think he knows the fan base , sacrifice Ange or whoever comes next . Fans think got to give the new guy a chance and like magic the protests fade away .

People say Ange has no plan B , probably hired him because of that . Levy been running Plan A for 25 years , things get rough sack the manager . Except he gets away with his Plan A

All I see is Shady throwing shade at our fans but offering nothing himself. What did you expect?

I suggest looking past the messenger (Shady) in this instance........

Either there is a valid point on display or not.

It's like all the dicks who never actually go to games calling for a boycott. They don't sacrifice anything but feel good because they've "done something".

I respect that analogy though.

Would you not at the very least concur that although there's always plenty of noise on the internet; there's comparatively very very little action?

The irony here is that before social media etc. was such a powerful platform; we used to see far more succesfully mobilised action (i.e. when it was MORE difficult).

eg:

Anti-Stratford
Sugar
Scholar

...Although; also notable: Anti-SuperLeague garnered more tangible steam than Anti-ENIC has done at any one point.

Nah. Said elsewhere, we'd bounce straight up on buoyancy of the size of our capital alone and it'd do nothing to change ENIC's tact.

The reality of ENIC, as I've laid out in finer detail several times, is that they are very nondiversified in their holdings. The major share of Lewis' wealth, and basically all of Levy's net worth, is Spurs. Compared to Chelsea, woolwich, United, Liverpool, and now Everton, our owners are the least capitalized.

Very bluntly, they do not have significant free liquid capital to call upon. Certainly not as much as our "peer" clubs.

Thus, their financial regulations will remain consistent. They may regret not having looked for a bidder 4 years ago - that's the extent of the effect relegation would have. And the commercial hit would mean less spending and more us mid-table until we find another bang-bang Harry+Poch run of success to lift us back out.

I think this is different.

It feels as though real change is coming to me.

Levy has nowhere to hide any more.

He keeps selling the best players, not paying the top wages, charging supporters top dollar and buying speculative punts instead of top quality players.

ENIC and Levy are yesterday's men in 2025. They are being shown up by the owners of Brentford and Brighton for being second rate.

Levy was ahead of the curve in respect of his business model in 2001.

He's run out of friends and ideas in my opinion.

Sale is imminent in my opinion and anything we can do to send the asking price backwards, towards the 29 million they originally gave to Sugar, should be our objective as disatisfied customer reference numbers.
