So, we can only look to ourselves. I’m a ST holder and I haven’t been since the 3-6 debacle. Haven’t put my seat on the exchange (probably wouldn’t have sold anyway) and it has remained empty. However, that’s just me - I can’t advocate everyone doing this as it’s galling to have forked out in advance to only ‘lose’ money in the long term (some might say that cash was ‘lost’ at the point of sale).
Why would you do that? He's already had your money? I find that a little strange to be honest.

Will you renew for next season?

I probably won’t renew.

As to your first question - it comes down to ‘doing something’. I can’t ask other people not to go but I think a half empty stadium might make some people in positions power take notice. I’ve been part of the Levy/ENIC out protests and as much as I agree with the sentiments and the aims Levy & co aren’t bothered.

From a purely selfish, self centred POV I can’t stand the ‘match day experience’ 🤮 anyway. Better off away from it for my own sanity.

Thanks for your reply.

I've also been part of some of the protests, even the one off Trust protest. I agree that they don't make any difference at all.

I'm a ST holder and will renew, however, I don't buy any food or drink in the stadium and haven't for a long while now. Beer and food is a lot cheaper virtually everywhere else on the high road and surrounding area than the stadium.

This is patently untrue

The fans who are ridiculed are the ones who have all the noise online but don't turn up to the protests.

The fans that go to the protest are always praised.

Nah its not. A quick skim of the enic thread over the past year shows alot.
Yes those who attend are praised by some but it's often alongside posts pointing to a lack of attendance / poor organisation / being a waste of time.

Even making a joke about only 20 people turning up is ridicule. It's making a mockery of it and it actually discourages further attendance as it all comes across like a joke.

On the whole, this forum is far from noble in commending and encouraging these folk (although some do).

A walk out would make headlines and would make the board uncomfortable but it’ll never happen.

Despite having had a connection with the club since 1982 - predominantly as a fan but also a youth player - I’m content to walk away now. The only real high point to my visits to N17 have been to see mates. It’d be a lot easier and cheaper just to arrange to see them at other times.

ultimately it’s essentially a private company (yeah, I get the community links etc) and these vultures/weasels/rats will make decisions that ONLY suit their agendas and pockets. It’s a crying shame but that’s what football has become
Still good at lower levels. Fun, no screaming idiots acting as though the fate of western civilization hinges on the next 90 minutes. Fewer fat blokes cunting off their own players. Pints and pies, all the same. Cheaper, easier to get in/out. Refs might be better.

Definitely better refs 👍🏻

Been to Dulwich Hamlet, Bromley, Sutton United and Wimbledon over the last year or two. Altogether a much better afternoon out. That’s where I’m heading by the looks of it. Our ground leaves me cold

Because it's something he doesn't need to do. Someone else's problem. Like I said earlier, he's calling on other people to make sacrifices so he can do nothing at all then claim he's joined in the "boycott".

It's crap. Sorry, it's just crap.

I love the way this joker speaks for me yet he apparently cannot see my posts lol

More to the point, attacking other posters intentions as opposed to attacking the true evil of the board justifies my point about fans like YOU, too busy points scoring online and acting like some internet wise crack trying to come across smarter than you are (you're not)

There’s two ways two get it this mess: the club is sold to some Arabs or oil guys, or we get a fantastic manager that turns this around like Poch did. Nothing else
Which Arabs will buy the club with the most famously Jewish historic following and ownership? Any new owners will be more like Enic than Abu Dhabi.
Fantastic manager could happen but it will be more luck than judgement. And luck doesn’t usually last long.

Why arabs or oil guys? Not that I have anything against them, I'd welcome them.
But Woolwich and Liverpool don't have arabs or oil guys and they're doing OK.
They have the expectation to win trophies. It’s demanded.

Our fans are happy wanking over a few teenagers with nice haircuts passing the ball accurately as it bodes well for the future.

We aren’t really serious about winning trophies and certainly haven’t been since the 80’s.
