Match Palace v Spurs - 27th Oct - 8PM

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Suggesting an in form Son is dropped for a completely untested Argentinian youngster who doesn’t speak the language and hasn’t looked like scoring (especially for a difficult trip to Palace) is bellend behaviour. Bellend
I didn't suggest Son was dropped at all
Rich out - Son across to the left
Veliz in the middle and Brennan for Kulu

I would like to see the lad start, and then put son back if it doesn't work out - and if there are no better options, Richie out wide.

Maybe you should have asked for clarity, if you don't have the breadth of though to work it out for yourself.

I had also already said - its unlikely to happen, because in the league Ange always seems to play what he believes is his strongest team.

Baffles me still why they have the audacity to call themselves crystal 'palace' based on their eyesore of a ground. Worst ground in top two or maybe three tiers in england. A shithole!
Yep but it definitely bounces, especially in the evenings.

PEH to start for me - I think we need some experience and nouse in this game and save Biss for Chelsea.

Would love to see Brennan start.

There is absolutely nothing to fear from Chelsea.

Vicario is as solid as any other keeper in the league. He has been phenomenal.

Our back 4 is looking quality. Romero and van de Ven IS the best centre back pairing in the league. It's not just their individual ability, which is right up there, but it's the fact that Romero can get up close his man, put extra pressure on him whilst knowing that van de Ven has the pace to mop up if needed.

Udogie in current form is the best LB in the league, it isn't even close and Porro has come on leaps and bounds, whilst he isn't 100% yet, his turnaround has been very impressive.

Bissouma, Maddison, Sarr (with Bentancur to come in) is as good as any midfield 3 in the league right now.

Son is Son. He's just pure class. Moving him central plays to his strengths and he looks nearly back to his best. There are question marks over Kulusevski and Richarlison in their current form, but they're both good players who will always get chances in this system.

Do we really give a fuck about Chelsea in our back yard? Not a fucking chance. We're going to smash the cunts.
I hear ya but it's not like we are their bogey team.

Tbh dont think we should get ahead of ourselves. Poch is starting to get into his stride and for me one of the great managers. Chelsea is always a tough match and think when we play them it will be a classic. Hopefully another 3 points though for our charge to stay top.

dont think chelsea will be a walk in the park, but is poch getting into his stride? thought Woolwich and chelsea were both shit the other day. not been convinced by chelsea anytime theyve been on. looks a mess there, players just chucked together, no camaraderie. some of the players just dont look good enough either.

Chelsea haven't beaten a single team above 13th this season. Stride my arse.

I'd be fuming if we can't beat that Chelsea team at home.

Nuno had some stinkers, but that game was just brutal circumstances.....
Royal first game. Dier injury 12mins leading to:

Royal / Japh / Rodon / Reg

Then Japh red card at 58mins.
It was still 0-0 at that point. Even then it took a pen at 76 mins to break the deadlock.
Pretty sure we had a fucking negative xG that game...

I'm not really one for reading too much into xG but good grief that game was disgusting to watch, regardless of circumstances...

I don't see how one can disregard the circumstances in a game; least of all a game where we're that hindered.

Romero & Sanchez already out injured just a couple of games into the season. State of that bench too!
  • 2Doherty
  • 11Gil
  • 14Rodon
  • 22Gollini
  • 28Ndombele
  • 33Davies
  • 44Scarlett
  • 49Omole
  • 54Markanday
We were 3/3 wins before that game (inc. City); despite Kane fucking off to Disney Land.

The NLD a couple of weeks later was WAY worse.... As was Nuno's complete freeze-job in the 2nd half at home to the Chavs.

Best possible team. End of.

Hints of arrogance seen on the pitch yesterday and on this board.

Too much profligacy and one pass too many last night. Johnson for Richarlison and Bissouma back in the middle.

Quick turnaround but if we win, it's 10 days before we welcome the traitor and his not so merry men..

Oh come on - that's the most dreadful excuse for an underperforming attacking player - ever!

He runs into blind alleys, he's not very quick, his crosses are Meh! - at best, and he's not much of a goal threat.

Are the other players letting him down by being somewhere else, other than where he crosses it, or standing too close to defenders when he gives it to them?
No, by fucking up the chances when presented.

It's just my opinion mate, but I see someone working hard. Yes, he is a one-footed trickster and needs to use his right foot at times because it would be easier - like yesterday, it was easier to score than playing it across with his left - but Richarlison is a bigger worry in the team.

He's creating chances and getting chances. He will score a few very soon, it can't keep going wrong for him.
