Wait, what has happened to Sarr :o ?

Unused sub in Brighton game and not even in lineup for Doncaster? Prior to those two games he started all the games for us + both games on international break.

Is he already bit burned out? Cause there is no injury, Frank told pre-Doncaster that no new injuries...

Hope it's nothing and he'll be back, rested and ready to go vs Wolves though.

I think you've answered your own question there, mate.

With the amount of work he gets through, he needed a rest early in the season.

And yes, he will be back rested and raring to go for Wolves.

He will be one of our most important players this season. Proving that already.

He has some problems, but he's absolutely a player we should have on the pitch when we need to score goal. He would have done a lot better than Rodri yesterday, but don't think he was 100% to start the game.

Exactly, noting "technical" about it - deserved assist.

So Sarr has goal + 2 assists in 358 minutes played in EPL
Palhinha 2 goals in EPL with 424 minutes
Bergvall 1+1 with 367 minutes.

Thats brilliant contribution from midfield.
And have to say - Bentancur (0+0 in 322 minutes)- take note.
Right now he is behind all 3 of them in my books.

That may be harsh on Bergvall but the balance of the team is what counts and Sarr does the running to make Xavi possible.

Yeah, I tend to think so too. Though in some games can also be Palhinha-Bergvall+Xavi.
And in games against bit smaller sides the biggest takeaway is - WE HAVE TO FUCKING PLAY XAVI 10 + 2 WINGERS.
4-3-3 with Xavi on left is badly off balance and not enough bodies upfront.

In that regard I am dissapointed in Frank that he hasn't addressed it way earlier. This has been quite obvious for a number of games already.

It’s a weird one. He seems afraid of playing a 10
 
For some games, since we currently don't have a quality LW, we could play 2 up top (Kudus + one of our available strikers) with Xavi just behind them.

Then we can use all 3 of Palhinha, Sarr and Bergvall in midfield. The FBs can act as WBs when we are on the attack

we’ve played some really poor games with Sarr starting too tbh. I know he played more forward but he started agsinst Bournemouth and we were awful. Will probably(hopefully) be our worst performance all season and we’ve had some other really poor games where he’s started deeper.

I like Sarr but he’s not must play, we’re awful without him level of player. Sorry but he’s not. He’s got legs and energy. But on the ball he’s hit and miss, not great receiving back to goal under pressure either and sometimes switches off postionally off the ball.
