It's the second part of that second sentence for me. I don't think Conte cannot recognise the talent, I think he just refuses to give youth a chance over the experienced professional until it's absolutely required.
Sarr just put on one of the better displays in MF we've seen all year and you could see the confidence oozing as the match went on. The first half, he was a little timid but showed his class with his touches on the ball. Second half, he was winning every challenge, firing shots from distance and genuinely putting on a brilliant display as a 20 year old.
