Great news giving the young guys new, long contracts. I will say though that under poch, we did the same thing and then levy didn't move players on when they were no longer performing to a decent standard. I just hope that we don't start to stagnate again because we have guys on long deals

Here's the thing he's what 21 years old. Look at him he's not hit his physical apex yet six foot one stride like a gazelle, bright as a button and developing at a scary rates of knots. He will end up terrorising teams he'll add goals and assists galore. He's got the lot.

oh hes a special talent for sure. i hope that when he does eventually fill out it doesn't effect his movement because the way he glides around the pitch is what gives him his edge.
 
Just like in the early Pochettino years, we’re doing a great job rewarding and locking down our young players. Reminds me of what we did with Kane and Dele as soon as they broke through.
 
I know not the biggest name in terms of comparisons with Vieira. But he actually reminds me of Ramires when he was at Chelsea.

Just endless running ability.
 
Only a couple of PL starts and a few minutes at the end of PL matches totalling some 200 mins last season. Followed by an outstanding performance alongside Skipp as the pair of youngsters dominated AC Milan in CL last season. An almost wasted season under Conte.

Total change under Ange this season with 18 PL appearances (16 starts) totalling 1,176 minutes and 2 goals and 2 assists so far.

He's developing nicely into a top class midfielder capable of scoring and assisting goals which we certainly need : delighted he's now on a new 6 year contract, well deserved.

We are developing a good squad of experienced, but young, players that we can build a top class squad around that other clubs will envy.
