Well no, I was actually wondering why you're so desperate to contradict yourself, you obviously have a bias over certain players that's fine, I just find it funny you constantly tying yourself in knots trying to justify your mental gymnastics saying that this coach isn't up to par and it's not the players fault, yet at the same time putting Romero's form back onto him, basically you don't make any sense.
Romero hasn't been 'dogshit' this season, no worse than any of our other players, I will agree that he's made some high profile mistakes which led directly led to goals which is fair enough but outside of that he's also had some good games so he was inconsistent which is what you originally said before you tried to hilariously move the goalposts of your own argument...in which you've obviously ignored but you're ignoring them because it doesn't suit your agenda, it's cool - I see you.
At least you're trying to clear up the condescending tone I guess![]()
No real contradiction, repeat it as many times as you want.
Again - Romero literally started off the season with error after error while pretty much everyone's levels started to vary after long part of the season was already played. If you don't see difference in that it is because you chose not to.
Also at no point have I tried to deny that expectations towards Romero are higher than likes of Sarr or other youngsters.
Also even higher than likes of Bentancur and Solanke. I mean people were literally talking about Romero being "potentially worlds best CB" when his this season performances overall have been shocking. Number of errors leading to goals is likely highest from our defenders? Certainly no better than for others. And I don't see that large number of howlers against EPL teams would be undone by staying solid against team with total value half of Romeros.
