IMO he’s one that’s about to really push on. I think about the cross for Maddison v Villa the quality of his assist in the EL final, the strike vs City and it’s so clear he has the quality to go with Kante like lungs.

I don’t hate the kid but there’s a lot of meh about plenty of what he does. The idea of him being a “playmaker” is frankly nuts. Unless you’re someone like sudoku , who probably thinks he’s the African Pirlo.

Good energy, does good running abaaat, the odd good penalty box moment. Shown nothing that any of us should be sucking ourselves off over so far.
 
Good powerful running but not otherwise shown much more even pre Ange.

Nothing to get excited about right now, although obviously 'potential'

Doesn't scream 'must sell' or 'must keep' on his merits - as I've said in transfer thread, real problem is squad numbers, we have one too many for CL squad in CL (max 17 overseas plus 4 HG so 21 in total or less than 2 players per position whereas currently Spurs have 5 players for 2 positions - Bissouma or upgrade, Bentancur, Sarr, Bergvall, Gray ...... so I'd keep Bentancur for his experience and sell Sarr. Bring in Devine as a CM to add numbers but not take up a squad place)

CL Squad numbers helped. £40m/£50m cash raised to help buy a player elsewhere (or put with £20m from Bissouma sale to bring in top DM)

Sarr had a fairly significant dip in form last season, but that should not be unexpected for younge rplayers. Bergvall will probably do similar in the next couple of years as well. But Sarr does have a massive ceiling IMO. He is athletic, has an amazing engine, with a long rangey stride, and can become an incredible box to box midfielder.
 
Kid's got to show big improvements this year. Or else.

It's his 4th season, 100+ games already for us, 30+ for Senegal, gonna turn 23 in Sept...he ain't a newbie, no more excuses.

Legs & lungs always been there, needs to up his football IQ.

He got done by a throughly incoherent system that he did not clearly understand last season. His form suffered a proper coach with a proper remit will sort out loads of these players.
