Sarr is excellent at nicking the ball, and has the energy & determination to press aggressively, as he did so effectively in the EL final.

His exceptional box-to-box athleticism is perfect when Frank decides we need that as part of the CM mix.

Hppefully, Frank will see that we don't need to blow north of £40 million & big wages on the likes of Conor Gallagher or Jacob Ramsey, whose athleticism is inferior to Pape Sarr's, and instead concentrate on signing a creative, tricky, AM with vision, like Xavi Simons. Maddison is very talented & effective when fit, but if we get 30-40 games out of him this season, it will be a bonus.

People saying he’s not technical are making lazy assumptions based on his athleticism.

Sarr is more technical than people realize
