Player Pape Sarr

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

People may think worse of Sarr if he were to play as a central defender. But that would actually be a promotion for him. That position is significantly more important than that of a defensive midfielder. I think Sarr could potentially command Tottenham's defence. I mean, it is hard to know absent watching him ever play that position. But he looks like he could be excellent there.

What AI are you cos I asked Meta if Sarr was suited to CB and it said this:

Pape Matar Sarr is primarily known as a midfielder, not a center back (CB). He's been thriving in his role as a midfielder for Tottenham Hotspur under Ange Postecoglou and now Thomas Frank, showcasing his skills with impressive stats:
- *Appearances*: 55 games in all competitions
- *Goals*: 6
- *Assists*: 3
- *Passing Accuracy*: 88.7%
- *Tackles*: 61 successful tackles

There's no indication he's been utilized or suited for a center back position. Sarr's strengths seem to lie in his midfield prowess, energy, and composure, making him a key figure in Tottenham's setup.

It's clearly an abandoned prototype that got out of captivity and somehow ended up on the fighting cock.
