Player Pedro Porro

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

He really isn't a right back, defensively he is awful.

Ipswich were able to beat him and get crosses in so easily down his side and that isn't a one off.

And he doesn't contribute nearly enough in an attacking sense.

He also isn't a winger, so I'm not sure where he fits.

That said he is technically one of our best players when he is at it.

But playing him in a back four with Romero next to him is asking for trouble.

Still, I'd rather see him under a defensively competent coach, not Ange.

On fullbacks so Udogie Porro ect. I don't get why to have spared them a bit Ange did not use Reguilon, listen I fully appreciate he can't defend either but if nothing else his sharing mins with Udogie would have protected the Italian. We are paying him anyway so may as well use him.

Looks like this Porro to Real M. rumous have legs...

Tottenham star Pedro Porro leaves door open for Real Madrid switch

By Matthew Holt
Real Madrid are in the market for a new full-back with Trent Alexander-Arnold and Jeremie Frimpong also on their rada

Porro - ranked at no.5 in FourFourTwo's list of the best right-backs in the world right now - has gone from strength to strength since his move from Sporting last year, solidifying his place as one of the Premier League's most talented full-backs.

It is his form for Spurs that has prompted clubs including Real Madrid to make their interest known in the last few months, with an injury to Dani Carvajal hinting that perhaps they are in the market for a replacement.

Pedro Porro plays down reports he is attracting interest from Real Madrid

“I am focused on my job," said the 25-year-old as quoted by El Desmarque this week. I am 25 years old, and at 26 I don’t know where I can be, football is like that. I am settled in English football, I have a contract until 2028,” he said.

“My name and others are mentioned, but I am focused on my club and now with the national team. My friends send me the rumours, it is a compliment, but I am focused. It is the result of a job well done that one of the best clubs in the world is taking notice of me.”

So that's two players we have to drive to Madrid?

He’s a wing back. Udogie is a wing back.

We would be sooo much better playing 352

He'd be great as a central CB in a back three.

And also Ange is stupid for playing him on his unnatural left side rather than Romero, who is apparently the best defender in the world.
Whether you rate Romero or not, undeniable he has great feet and far more suited to playing left than the rigid, basic Drag (good defender but not footballer)

Sell him for £80m to RM then slap down a few million on a bumfluff prospect. This is the way.

Porro looks a bit knackered lately. Club should feed him a lagoon of shiitake mushrooms and stick him in a hot tub.
