Because Levy likes to parade every signing that we make like he has done us all a massive favour and we should throw roses at his feet for doing the bare minimum, typical megalomaniac behaviour.

Also, leave it to the last minute to build hype and bang the drum on the signing so much it hopefully makes the fans forget about how terrible our overall business has been.

Major gaps in key areas while we are still in with a shot of winning a cup and getting top four and we sign two players, one of which will likely barely get game time considering the forwards we have and the other of which (Porro) is the only key area we have addressed.

All very predictable tbh.

We wouldn't have let Doherty actually leave the club, plus Spence out on loan if we didn't have Porro secured...

My hunch is that the delay is because we're trying to get Marcus Edwards back as part of the deal!! (We've already reduced his sell on fee from Sporting, so we won't have to pay ourselves as much to buy him!!!!)🙄
 
I'm hearing we've mutually agreed to terminate his contract as he's just found out that none of his new teammate's missus' will dump their OH for him.
