Player Pedro Porro

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Under Conte, he looked poor. Under Ange however, he’s found his perfect position.

MOM today and a key part of our team. As with most of this team, I love him !

I will say, thought he was a poor, naive purchase given he was to be a Conte wingback and how bad he was initially as a RB.

But wow has he turned into a player.

And still room to grow…he’ll soon add some banger goals I’m sure

Looks like he's fully COYS and has been since day one, really wanted the move and wants to be part of what's happening here. Still think he might be a bit suspect defensively but I guess that doesn't matter when he spends very little time defending in Ange's system. Excellent today going forward again

He’s two cm shorter than Bryan but really highlights how important it is to have that core strength at this level. I think he said recently that he had to hit the gym after realising he wasn’t physically up to it when he first came to the PL. he should have a word to his countryman.

He’s probably the 3rd most creative RB in the league aside from Trent and trippier. And he offers incredible intensity as well.

The worries of ‘can he only play in a 5’ seem so long ago now. Him and Udogie are proper modern fullbacks that have the club set for years.

One can't blame Conte for everything.
Porro joined Spurs on the very last day of the TW in 2023, and Conte got sacked 6 weeks later. Playing under any head-coach it would normally take more than 6 weeks for a player to adjust to not just a new team but a new league & country as well.
There is no doubt, though, that Angelos knows how to get the best out of Porro.
