I just think it's funny, his balk striking and personality get him cut an incredible amount of slack. Like him want him kept but if offered mad money he's not irreplaceable. Spence is better all round watching Spence head a ball clear swung into the back post over the on coming forward emphasised how useful height in one fullbacks actually is.
Well he is clearly a wingback, not a fullback. He is much better further up the field.

And if the number and quality of chances created from those crosses (and through balls, cut-backs and slide-rule passes into the box etc) then great.
This season, Porro's passes are creating 0.12 xG per 90 as potential assists and 0.10 per 90 as potential "secondary assists". Trent's are creating 0.31 and 0.27. In fact if you look at all the other EPL players turning over more than 20 times per game (there are 19 of them), they average 0.32 and 0.21 xA/90 and secondary xA/90.
Porro is playing the low percentage game, and we need someone to do that, but he's not getting enough return to justify that. Clearly part of that is on the his team-mates receiving those passes but it's an area we need to improve. I love Porro and his energy and enthusiasm but I think he needs to be a bit more selective at times.
How is possession loss worked out? Are crosses included? If so it would make a lot of sense.

That's part of it. He does about 6 crosses per 90. So if 2/3 of them don't find a target, that's 4 turnovers per 90 out of a total 21.
Trent's numbers are very similar (6.6 crosses per 90). The difference is that there's a lot more shots happening as a result of Trent's crosses than Pedro's. That's not necessarily on Pedro, there has to be someone there to receive the cross and create the chance. But it's something we need to work on.
