Player Pedro Porro

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Well he’s a modern FB. The way the game has evolved FB’s are now expected to do a lot more then just defend. The Gary Neville, Lee Dixon style RB would probably get slated now for being very average going forward.

Porro is one of the better footballers in the squad. He’ll never be a great defender though. I think you just accept him for what he is. In the same way that Trent is an appalling defender but nobody cares when he pings those passes 50 yards.
He was brought in as a RWB for Conte.

Wan Bisaka is the traditional FB. Not good enough for a good team but ok at a lower level.

A decent manager would do great with porro in a trent Alexander Arnold way

I wouldn’t be surprised if bigger clubs wanted him but I’d be surprised if we sold him. He seems a professional guy too and so I don’t think he’d bang the door down for a move.
It's because of Levy that we can refer to others as 'bigger clubs'. If we were in Europe every season and challenging for things, we would be one of those bigger clubs and players would be staying i.e. we wouldn't be discussing departures in this way.

What would it take (and how) for us to be one of the 'bigger clubs', considering our stadium and revenues?

Not knocking your comment, Brian, it's how we all speak and think - it's how things have been, overall, sideways (the average line between the ups and downs) for years.

Getting the best scouting department available in, would be a great start.

And the most important investment we could do.

Imagine one of those absolute thundercunts he likes to put his foot through flies into the top corner tonight... Please lord if it's going to ever find the net let it be tonight
