If that’s the case, then I have no idea what I am talking about,
I am not sure the link was that solid and/or if Sangare is ready to be a full time starter in the EPL.
He seems like he would be a decent add based on his potential but might be someone who needs time to round out his game.
I am not saying I am against signing him just that he might not be our answer to a holding MF, for this season at least.

It's not bad, I just find it to be a bummer.
So many people have given everything to football and failed to reach the elite level because they lacked the gifts that Oscar seems disinterested in maximizing for the brief spell of years when he'll have access to them.

I loved Oscar when he played in the PL. Pretty gifted and would add some creativity to our side which is desperately needed especially if we ship off Ndombele.

Sangare is much more press resistant than Hojbjerg, shows up much more for the ball in tight spaces than Hojbjerg does. His potential ceiling is much higher than Hojbjerg's IMO, and eventually, if he can cut out the errors from his game he will be a proper footballing DM I think, he's played DM a lot, but because of his age and the mistakes he can make, and also because he tends to be the driving force in the Toulouse midfield as well, he's often been used in a more hybrid role the last year or two with another more disciplined player in there with him.

Is it really, though? Freeing up his non-HG spot, shifting his £100k-a-week wages and getting any sort of fee at all for him (let's say even £10m) doesn't tempt you? Our blocked toilet is causing us so much pain. We must do everything we can to unblock it.

It got to the stage with AVB that i had forgotten what his name was and only knew the initials...
That, and also its the first game of pre-season 5 days after about half of the team reported to the facility and without half the first team even available for selection.

Sangare in for Sissoko would collectively upgrade our midfield to the point where it's even hard to put into words.
And if we are selling any of our midfielders this summer, Sissoko would be the first in line. Hojbjerg, Sangare, Lo Celso, Ndombele and Winks is pretty good depth, rotation and variety for 2-3 spots on the pitch.
I would be very very happy with those midfield options.
