Ex-Spurs Player Pierre-Emile Højbjerg

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Only got a year left on his contract come summer. If the allegations against him get sorted we should be all over that signing. Could perhaps offer Rodon to ease the way.

Things like that don't sway big deals (and swaps generally aren't common)..... Most teams would prefer the cash to pick their own targets and rightly so.

Anyway...

Let's assume in the summer that Rice, Phillips, Bissouma & Nevez will all be up for grabs as quality EPL-proven CMs... This could work in our favour if we were shopping for one...... Though realistically, our options will likely consist of whoever the cunt clubs don't want. Add Bellingham potentially to the mix and that makes 5 players:

Hypothetically, I'd predict:

Chavs = Rice
Liverpool = Bellingham
United = Bissouma

= Phillips & Nevez still on the shelf

City = ??? (Gündoğan is 32 in October!)
Spurs = ???
Arse = ??? (Sniffing about Nevez in this last window apparently)

Bissouma ran him over on multiple occasions. He’s a good squad options, nothing more. Bentacour cannot replace him fast enough.

He stacks up very well with some of the "best " in the League.

Pls don't bring facts into a debate that is fuelled 100% by emotion
Football is about emotion. It’s not baseball, most stats are secondary to eyetest especially in central midfield. If you can’t see that this fraud costs us against good sides, god help you (suggest you watch the rerun of his last performance at the Emirates which resembled him doing an impression of Zouma’s cat)

Football is also about reason.

Of which there is little to none in this thread.

Plenty of people somehow still think he is a good player, so they are reasoning (according to your definition).

Personally, I’m adamant I’m right and feel confident we will never back once this turd is flushed.

Bang average football (liability in big games), and a bit of a dickhead too which is not a good look all in all

Reason.

If you had any, you'd too realise he is closer to a "good player" than a "turd".

Also, if you had any vague interest of researching our players, you'd know that he is an extremely sympathetic person rather than "a dickhead" and very well liked both on club and international level. If you think he is a "dickhead" I'd really be chuffed to hear what you think about Messi, Neymar or Dele or Michael Dawson or Robbie Keane for the matter.

Nørgaard is a very, very clever player.

Born to play #6.

Guess he will end up somewhere like Italy.
I have to admit he's a player to have completely bypassed me. I've yet to watch a full game of Brentford's so I'm struggling to think of a time I've actually noticed him apart from his goal against the scum on the opening day of the season. I'm aware that there is a fair bit of talk surrounding him since they signed him, so I must make a point of watching him I think.
