Is there anything that proves how poor and overrated that he is than fools rushing in to brag about him making a poor cross but the defender playing it even worse.

That is his level that people have to pretend that his shit cross was a good play because there aren't any actual good plays to point to.
 
This thread is sad and hillarious at the same time.

How Spurs supporters will go to extremes against players they hate. No perspective, reason or vague attempts of analysis.

You'd think this was a player of the Lamela or Sissoko level of disaster.

A centre mid doesn’t need stand out plays. They need to do the simple things well, he’s the opposite of that - blunders his way through possession
 
Him and Winks is horrible, one of the worst midfield duos that ever played the game, we are dominated in midfield every time they play togheter and if we haven't playing 3 at the back we would concede like 5 goals every game.
 
We were 1 goal up with all of the initiative swinging our way. PEH turns the ball over to Southampton when under no pressure at all and suddenly we are on the back foot again. A minute later they score.
The team shouldn't be so fragile to let a mistake like that kill our initiative, but a mistake like that should never have happened in the first place.
