Ex-Spurs Player Pierre-Emile Højbjerg

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Sissoko did two things of note played a blinder against us for Newcastle made him look a world beater and feckin wasnt and he punted the ball back in the semi-final v Ajax that lead to the winning goal that’s it , he was lazy fecker and did nothing to justify 30million quid , Hojbjerg on the other hand was a grafter no dynamic by any stretch of the imagination but a guy you’d be happy to be in the trenches with……if we were 2-0 on Tuesday night away to Stoke in the middle February I know who’d I rely on …..
I would also love to be a defender ina hojberg side my feet wouldn't get cold all the time I would see the ball more

If he was an academy product with a first name from the 1930's, he'd have been defended by the vast majority of fans.
Let's be serious, we've seen far worse come through the academy and get almost unwavering support.

Hope the move works for him - might not have been everyone’s cup of tea but always gave 100% for us…

Definitely- a very good player for the club relative to his initial fee, especially when he first arrived from Soton. He really should be somewhere that he can start games regularly. I'd have liked to see what he could have done in Spain or Italy but I guess France it is.

How exactly does a loan with obligation work when he's got one year left on his contract?
I imagine it’s an accounting thing. Marseilles won’t start paying his transfer until next season, rather than now. And they seem to be pretty busy, so makes sense for them. And we get some kind of fee, eventually, for an almost out of contract player we don’t want to keep.
