Generally the ratings on this forum are fucking comical a mix of twats who literally have not the slightest idea about football and odious keyboard warriors peddling their own negative miserable agenda - the whole forum is toxic and why I rarely contribute or even read it - not much fun to be had on this forum these days

Yeah, which is a shame because it *should* be a much better resource than journalist ratings, which are largely + or - 2/3pts depending on whether the team wins or loses. We should try to be as objective as possible, or simply don't provide ratings.

About 15-20 years ago I used to run this kind of thing on another forum and had to rely on excel spreadsheets and macros. Annoying that now we have better tools, we have worse data because people use it to vent their frustrations.

I’m definitely not miserable negative or have any agenda - not to a particularly high standard but I have several coaching badges am a qualified ref and over the last 60 years have watched and played an awful lot of football so not too sure what I’m lacking in self awareness

Of course it doesn’t matter if you have watched 1 game or a million games you are entitled to have and voice an opinion / just like I have with my opinion that a lot of the ratings in this forum are fucking comical

Actually your rankings are pretty close to what I would have rated if I was bothered to give any - probably would have been slightly harsher on richi who although took his goal well did miss a sitter and his all round play was a bit rusty.

For the record don’t feel you (or for that matter anyone else) need to ask my permission to give ratings likewise I won’t ask permission to find it comical when someone gives everyone 1/10
