Transfer Players worth keeping an eye on playing for other clubs

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I'm going to show my ignorance, but with the exception of Turans purple patch has a Turkish player really done it to a high level in a top top league? A Spain or England?
I agree that Turkish players would not be on the top of wish lists for Spurs...
In the EPL Tugay Kerimoğlu (Blackburn) & Çağlar Söyüncü (Leicester) are the only 2 that come to mind right now.
Some of their best players in recent times were born in Germany actually (Hamit Altıntop, Nuri Sahin, Hakan Çalhanoğlu) and 2 of them (Mesut Özil, İlkay Gündoğan) choose to play for Germany rather than Turkiye..

I used to love watching Tuncay play football. Lovely little footballer.

Yeah he was decent for Boro and Stoke. Struggled a bit physically but boy could he pick a pass and hit a sweet shot. Type of player, when he picked up the ball about 30 yards from goal, there was something in the air...fans started holding their breath, standing up in anticipation of something special happening.

There are plenty good players outside from France, Spain, Germany, Belgium, Brazil...the usual suspects. But for a reason or another, they get ignored. Weird when you just look at last season...dudes who shared the golden boot were Egyptian and South Korean...

Young lad called Christopher Atherton from Glenavon has loads of scouts watching him, only 14 years old and has played men's Cup football (controversially), wide player...for his age group, he is different class.

Also a young lad called Callum Burnside at Linfield, has been over at Rangers academy despite being a Gaelic Footballer. Really talented, scored a couple against Wales in the Victory Shield recently.

Thought I'd note here that Ismael Kone (Canadian National, played for Montreal) has signed a deal with Watford. He's a good young prospect and I'd mentioned him here at some point in the last year or so.

Spal No. 5 is an excellent player for 22 years old, runs their midfield...apparently Conte rates him.

Hope Antonio is indeed keeping tabs on him, looks a player with real potential IMO.

Edit: that's link's about his brother...also a good player!

Wasn't sure where to put this but it's a good story. He signed up for Stockport County who are back in league football and isn't taking a cent in wages. Instead it all goes to the community trust.

It's refreshing to see this sort of thing.

Kadan Young at Aston Villa turns 17 in January and is currently around the first team squad for friendlies. Strong as a bull, exciting player, plays like a Ribery.

Rory Wilson who recently moved from Rangers shortly after Gerrard arrived at Villa is also worth keeping an eye on. Reminds me of Harry a bit. Has been banging the goals in and also turns 17 in January.
