Management Poch sacked

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I just don't know how to feel about this , I Love the Poch , He bought us back into a top four team where I feel we always belong , But then on the other hand our form in the last year has been nothing but dreadful and relegation form and I feel the Champion's league disguised the trouble we were in .

And Poch's tactics and substitutions were mostly baffling as many on here have said , I would love to know what he has against Moura ?

Mourinho it is then , Just don't know how to feel , It just doesn't seem to me as if it will fit somehow , Of course I hope I'm wrong and we batter the spammers weekend and go on from there .
But Levy and Mourinho will be like petrol and flame ..surely ? But good start for him to say he has plenty of talent to work with , That should give the players a bit of a boost Christ they need it .

Mourinho is a proven winner , So can he do it for us ?

I will miss the Poch and maybe it was time for change but shouldn't of he at least been given the chance to turn it around ?
Who knows , Anyways onwards and upwards COYS!

Just 24 hours after it was announced that Poch is no longer with us, the community seems to have moved on. Poch is almost the forgotten man. I, for one, can't wait for him to spill the 'behind the scenes' beans. I hope he doesn't stick to whatever NDA he's signed.
Chubbs, what is the point in being bitter about the past and cynical about the future?

Do people really think there isn't a direct correlation between the

is that because no players were at the training facility?

Didn't they just get back today?
Nothing to do with the international break of course...
Has more to do with the fact that, even though the writing was on the wall for us, Levy might have given him a warranty that he wouldn't be sacked. However you look at it, it's a pretty shitty situation. Definetely not deserving of arguably the 2nd best manager in our club's history.

I think this whole Poch not getting to say goodbye to the players quote is such a vague statement to create drama out of nothing. If you work somewhere and get fired they normally don't let you have a meeting with your co-workers to say goodbye. If you are that close with the people you work with surely you have a way to contact them once you're gone.

We live in an age where the players are saying good-bye in twitter posts. I wonder how many of them cared enough to give him a phone call? When I start thinking about things that way the idea of him getting fired without saying good-bye sounds a bit silly.

I am not entirely sure what you are trying to say. If it is about not saying goodbye to players, I was only referring to that not Levy giving Poch any promises (warranties?). The story might not be true anyway.

I'd say a lot of them were sick of the sight of him. Harry Kane's been eyeing the door cos he is tired of winning nothing.

It appears that one of those Guardian journos is very much a mouthpiece for Poch.

I was referring to the fact that it might've come as such a surprise to Poch he might've had no idea that he would get sacked before the international break took place. Anyway, it doesn't matter now. Levy was extremely cruel with how he dealt things, but this business is cruel and Levy did what he thought would be best for us by appointing José 11 hours after Poch's sack.
