Management Poch sacked

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Thing is, it has been pretty obvious that Poch has wanted out/hasn't been committed for a while. And the results have been pants domestically since late January. So him and us parting ways was the right thing.

The timing and the wimper with which it happens is what is odd about it all.

Timing is perfect in my view, why wait til we’re bottom three. He’s had since January to get the team playing the way he likes.

I guess throwing good money down the toilet by not using the players bought for him finally caught up

I am devastated tbh but I've known it had to happen since the summer. I honestly believe Poch didn't want to be here any more but wouldn't walk-theres blame at every door at every level for where we find ourselves but ATEOTD Poch was the manager and he had a top 4 squad in relegation form for 30 games, thats simply not acceptable whatever way you look at it.
I love the man and have never been as upset at a sacking or someone leaving since ledley retired but this had to happen unfortunately.

I think its Mourinho, absolutely 100%. If that means we win a trophy or two in the next year or two and I have to see his mug on our bench then so be it-fuck it at this stage-he would never be my first choice but he is free and a top manager.

Wish Mauricio all the best and pray to fuck he doesn't come back to haunt us for a rival.

At least this way although brutal he’s leaving as a Tottenham manager being held in high regard legend/hero status and rightly so! Irrespective of not winning anything what he did for us in terms of respect, belief and turning us into a top four should never be forgotten it would have been a shame if things had gotten worse and it ended with him getting booed and abused from the stands he didn’t deserve it to end that way.

I'm a very sad. He burned bright but he burned out. He broke his own rules built a meritocracy and then played favourites. So many years of mediocrity then top four champions league and finals. He had got weary and the end had to come. That said what a cluster fuck of a way to go about this, four days before a game. The board and Levy should go with him.

Everyone take a moment to consider how these events affect folks like Five Five . He's just invested in torch and pitchfork futures and laid down the money for a new camera, mic, banners, and an overhead plane in anticipation of becoming our 'DT' over the next couple of months (and as he hoped, years I assume). Chin up Five. We got you blud, fam, bruv.
