The nice thing about if it is Martinez is that it will take away any hope I had in this team so there will be no disappointment when we finish 12th, I won't be angry when we don't sign anyone (because I won't care) and when Kane goes it won't hurt as much because we will suck anyways.
Probably the best case honestly because with someone like Poch, Ten Hag, Conte I will be dumb enough to think we can compete and really let down when Levy brings in Martial, Andersen, Lingard and James Collins as our big signings this summer after selling Kane.

Did a read up on him a few days ago when I saw him linked with us. Have a look at the Juventus fan forums if you have the time, they were somewhat happy with him for a while but ultimately ended up displeased with the job he's done.
Brought in some good players (Chiesa, De Ligt, Kulusevski, McKennie) .. gave massive contracts to players not worth them (Ramsey, Rabiot). Pirlo can't go down as a successful managerial appointment. Brought in Alvaro Morata and Arthur, yuck. Left Juventus with an unbalanced squad, generally weak in midfield and at full back. I can't say I'm blown away, but if he's paired with Conte for a two year stint, who knows?
