We can't do a 5 at the back with that team.
Imagine it's a 4-2-2-2. Keeping it very narrow and tight. Archie and Bentancur sitting. Sarr and Bergval will be expected to move wide into a 4-4-2 on occasions. Very similar to what Emery always uses at Villa.

My thoughts is with those watching this tonight. Our arses are about to get us handed to us on a plate. That side is atrocious.
Not really, he has been shite recently. There’s also probably an element of resting him for Fulham, which is a much more important game.
You would expect our 60M marquee signing in Xavi to start despite not performing amazingly.

So many reasons to hate the lineeup, but one good reason to like it is Archie and Bergvall starting. Those 2 will be our midfield pairing for the future, so every chance they get is a very, very good sign for the future.
I’d really rather gray just get a chance to play in midfield.

We have no chance of winning on current form anyway. I'd say Frank is playing to keep ot respectable and leaving the likes of kudus and simons fresh to start the Fulham game on Saturday
We will soon find out but I’d worry this isn’t the game for it. If they are shown up he won’t recognise his flawed judgement in starting them against the CL winners. Let’s hope it’s a masterstroke.
