At least it's a nice day here in Hertfordshire, offsetting the looming threat of our tepid club's inevitable doom match this evening wrapped within the dystopian nightmare era we're currently existing in as we all crawl our way towards a merciful death.

Superb day. Had a nice meeting and coffee at Tewinbury with a client and then a relaxing drive back through the villages.

Got a load of stuff to work on but I could potentially do it all tonight and just take the dog out for a long walk this afternoon!!

It’s tempting……….

Expecting a traditional 4-2-3-1 that becomes a 4-5-1 or even a 4-6-0 out of possession, with lots of sitting back and dark arts of course. As long as we're not leaving huge spaces between the lines despite sitting with 10 men, like how it was in the Woolwich debacle, I wouldn't be too upset with the outcome.

I think any and every single debacle for any tran is the collective performance of the players, more than the shape of a team, although at times formation can have a bearing.

What we need to see, and what we really haven't for the last season and a half (or more) is a m all round show of togetherness and competence.

Whether it is messaging or training or the pressure being too much, progress is not obvious. Has to change but I don't think it starts tonight.

Think I'll have to be Mrs Nuts after today (no that's not a proposal ;) ).
I've just spent nearly €200 on a ticket, in the miniscule hope that we do something totally unexpected and get a result. Yep. Nuts is the word.
I went into the PSG shop on the Champs-Elysses and a very helpful assistant sorted it out for me. I wasn't sure that I wanted him to succeed but he wasn't going to give up. I bought a half &half too, as that's the only way I'd feel ok about wearing colours tonight. He obviously felt sorry for me as he gave it to me for half price.

Ah well, it's done now, fingers, toes and eyes crossed for a decent result.
