Liverpool just lost 1-0 vs Preston in their close doors friendly, just saying, you can't discount the opposition just because they're in a weaker league.
 
Saw us play qpr as a kid when they had the plastic pitch in the 80s. We won 5-2 that day and gave a masterclass. We were 5 nil up as well. Suppose tomorrow 1st team play first half then the academy lads come on to destroy them.

My first away game I think was there. 1990. We were crap in what was otherwise a decent run in. But the noise in that away end was superb. Proper caged sardines. When we won there with a worse team around 92/93 it was class. Specially as they were muggy arrogant wankers beforehand.
 
Let's start with a young promising midfield
Gray, Bergvall and Devine. And in the second half we'll see if Bissuoma, Kulusevski and Maddison can do better.

Austin Spence-Phillips-Gray-Porro Biss-Kulu-Madders Son-Lankshear-Johnson . That’s the lineup I would put today. Would love to see Gray over Biss but someone needs to cover as CB. Optionally: put Bergvall over Kulu, Kulu over Johnson, Donley over Spence.

QPR away, Easter Monday 1988 maybe... On the plastic... I was on the side but with the overspill Spurs fans and had the 'best' view of it...
