I'm just not sure that anything Daniel Levy has done could or should be described as anything other than "good businessman". As a business enterprise his leadership of Tottenham Football Club ltd has been pretty faultless. It's not "greedy".
The problem is the lack of trophies. And it's a massive fucking problem. But his "job" for Enic has been to deliver a self-sustaining profitable "Brand" and none of us would have a problem with anything he's done if it wasn't for the fact we've won fuck all.
So he's a failure at that for sure. But "greedy"? If he was siphoning funds out of the Club like the Glazers do then I'd agree. But he doesn't. So I don't.
And I think that is why the term "greedy" becomes problematic in this context. "Failure" (at winning trophies - for us the most, if not only, important metric) would be more accurate.
