No they don't

this is not what free speech is about.

You do not have a right to say whatever you want in a public space, and certainly not in a space owned by a corporation where you have paid money to attend.

Also - everyone is not entitled to their opinion - not all opinions are equal - many opinions are fucking stupid and hold zero fucking weight.
Mate , you need to go back and reread my post , we are in total agreement .

We generally live in a toxic age where people will try to take lumps out of each other. Race is one way of doing that I suppose. Other options are available. People need to chill.

The insane people has found a free haven on Twatter since the insane Musk took over.

Used to be a brilliant media to follow your interests, now it has become internets prime dump site!

hmmm...this thread is shifting in to politics. I will avoid that. All I will say is the people claiming it has got worse from when they younger are living in some weird fairy-tale.

Seen lots of racism/hate in the past 10 years. Two where Sheffield United away, so I will just mention that trip. I had the misfortune of travelling in the same carriage as some young spurs fans taking offence, to put it politely, to every mosque they saw on the trip. I have seen these guys acting like hooligans on youtube videos, so I guess they may be wannabee or real hooligans. The only decent one of them was a crystal palace fan who I spoke to by the toilet who said he was embarrassed to be with them.
In the stadium at half time, alcohol was banned, an unbelievably drunk older gentleman had a go at one of the staff for not serving him, called her all sorts of horrible words related to her race. Someone intervened and nearly got beaten up by his mate. That guy was so drunk and angry, I think he could have murdered someone if given the chance. It was all a bit pathetic really.

A view from outside the game

"Let's be honest here, football fans are generally horrible people, neanderthal-esque, tribal louts that stink of beer and shout like teenage girls in the play ground. Sometimes it's racist, sometimes it's vulgarities, either way it's always from a place of spiteful hate

The way 'critisium' is aimed at players is yet more reason for those of us outside of the game to label these people as unsocial morons. Death threats, chants about death, chants full of cursing and hatred

It's amazing really when you think about 'the national sport', isn't it?"

I don't think that is aimed at Tottenham fans as the author wasn't specific

Honestly still signing about Sol Campbell is top level cringe at this point, I find it embarrassing.

It reached perfection when Vieira was on his way out of the scum with the song about Campbell wanting his bum, and that should have been the end.

Remember joining in with that one and Judas walking across the pitch shaking his head!!

Never mind eh!
