Not a dig at you, it just sounds absurd on two fronts. First that Bayern would even offer that (unless we're paying him incredibly low wages), and second that any player would reject that if they did, whatever Ange said to him.

More likely they offered double his Genoa wages, whilst we were offering slightly less, but the tweet is worded such that it strongly suggests (basically outright says actually) that they offered double the wages he's getting here.

Expecting nothing less than a cinematic masterpiece for the announcement at this stage.

Right now getting new CM players is not top priority but with Højbjerg ready to leave and Lo Celso too injury prone to depend on and no OCM understudy (apart from Kuluveski) I’d pick 3 CM replacements from this list of players (all whom I consider fairly doable),
Yes, Gibbs-White be too costly while André Trindade, Scott and Bellingham may not wanna join Spurs without guaranteed 1st team footy.

Morgan Gibbs-White
Jobe Bellingham
Alex Scott
Hayden Hackney
Adam Wharton
Angel Gomes
Dan Neil
Archie Gray
André Trindade
Arthur Vermeeren
Hugo Larsson
Maurits Kjærgaard
Federico Redondo

Prospects
Finlay Gorman (Leeds)
Luke Harris (Fulham)
Lucas Bergvall (Djurgården)
Tristan Aldcroft Panduro (FK København)
Désiré Doué (Rennais)

Nice list

Jobe is a 10 when I watched him

Redondo is a 6 out and out already

Gorman went to City

MGW probably too expensive for January but if GLC moved on in the summer, he'd be my #1 target for the Madders rotation spot.
