He's not a right winger, blame Lange for leaving our squad short.

He's a centre forward who 'can' play on right or left - but for whatever reason is either very short of confidence or just not into exerting himself over much, and that's the real issue - he's not shown the stats he showed at either Frankfurt or Juventus (both as centre forward)

Tel has the same general description of being a centre forward who 'can' play left or right, whilst Richarlison is a centre forward who can play LW. Solanke is very much only a centre forward.

We had Johnson who really played as an inside right, rather than a right winger who was sold and not replaced in January.

Both Kudus (a RW) and Odobert (can play left and right wing) were injured in January and February respectively who were Spurs best wide players, Kudus re-injured just as he was coming back a couple of weeks ago.

So Lange's been a little unlucky with injuries but has given us a set of forwards lacking in quality as well as too few wide players to start with.

I wouldn't eay Lange has been unlucky with injuries because he has his pre warning last season and he could have fixed this in Jan

I think he needed to have done more in Summer 2024 (Solanke, Gray, Bertgvall, Odobert) which left us short on numbers of quality players and didn't improve the situation in later transfer windows.

I think the shortage of players at start of 24/25 led to too many players being played too often (and Ange required players to play a high line so more exhausting than usual) and hence injuries which plagued this season (Solanke, Kulusevski, Maddison, Dragusin injured at start of this season),

Just my POV.

Dopey bastard. Can tell he doesn't give a fuck and is waiting for his next payday.

The fact that he's being considered for the French squad is an indictment in itself.

Almost as bad as Danso.
It's like the board were sitting around discussing loan options and someone said something along the lines of... that Werner chap was fucking terrible. Not sure we could find a worse loan than that. And for whatever reason Lange thought that was a challenge.
He was a sensible loan at the time. Good pedigree etc but he’s been shit. The howler was not terminating in Jan, or of not possible then not buying a better player to replace him.

Might as well start with 10 players. Get one of the kids in, they genuinely can't be any worse than this prick.
Never wish injuries on a player but would be happy if this lad got an injury which meant we didn't have to see him play for us again and given his lack of effort for us I can't say I wouldn't be unhappy if an injury kept him out of W/C because he shouldn't be anywhere near a quality tournament like that.

Went into the season without a real plan for left wing, played Johnson, Xavi, Kolo Muani there out of position. Had no real plan for the backup 10 so that Xavi could adjust to the league, Sarr started the season there. Lost Johnson and Kudus in Jan and brought nobody in to cover the right. We started sorting out the Johnson move at the start of December, Kudus got injured on 4th Jan, there was plenty of time. It's a joke how our attack has been handled.

The way RDZ talks about him is that he thinks there's a player in there and wants to bring it out.

That may well be the case but I'm not sure it's something we need as a side quest in a relegation battle.
