A bit wild that many people seem confident West Ham are safe.

They are 3 points behind with the worst GD. Effectively 4 points back of safety, though it's possible they could catch Forest on GD.

Still have to play Woolwich, City, Villa, and Pool.

If Forest string together a few wins, they are effectively 6 points behind the next team (us).

Their improved form consists of only 5 matches. Before that, they lost at home to Forest and 3-0 to Wolves. Form comes and goes.
Because they have form for this, it’s not their first rodeo

Most teams that get relegated had near misses from previous seasons, so an escape from a previous year doesn't always carry over to another year.

Statistically they are by far the favorite to go down at 80%. I think realistically it is probably lower than that, but I think they are still clear favorite to go down, a bit higher than Forest.

You can't argue with form, until it does go though. And at the rate they're picking up points, they look like they have a real chance at getting out.

Aside from the United game, they've actually been good too. Took a little while, but they look like a Nuno team.

Hope to Christ they go down, obviously.

They have got match winners and a home crowd that could easily get 4 wins or more
You really cannot guess the results of relegation type matches. Strange things happen when teams just go for it . Wolves are virtuallly down but managed to get a point last night. Absolutely ridiculous. Woolwich just couldn’t handle it . Without Romero I fear for our defence which willl have to have Dragusin in it. He is not up to speed yet. We have to give it a real go or they will just get a set piece goal and sit back.
Take a point now. The crowd really have to get behind the team.

If city win the day before, a draw will be a great result!!

Which would be just typical of us that we have one flirt with relegation and fall through the trap door, while the likes of the spammers and Everton have both somehow escaped after dancing round the plughole quite often.

Take a look at Forest and Brighton's games.

We have the run-in, even if you include that lot. Liverpool and filth to come, that both those 2 would swap with.

We are under pressure, but in a better place than both those 2 above and the Hammers.

What concerns me more than anything is the sheer lack of bodies we have available, and you can bet that for every one that may come from injury two more will get injured for the rest of the season.

I think the bottom 5 all have a tough run of games to the end of the season. Maybe Wolves have it the worst.

Anyway, we’re only 16 points off 4th so we should really be looking upwards.

Palace and Forest play tonight.
Both away.
Palace then play Wolves at home and Forest have Liverpool at home.
Could well see both teams drop points

Brighton away at Brentford.
Leeds away at Villa.
Spam at home to rejuvenate Bournemouth

A real opportunity here for us.
They all play before us, so we'll know what we're playing for before we even kick off.

If they all lose and we we win, we'd jump up to 13th an, i think, 8 pointed above the drop.
We could get off to the best start possible.

Just go out there and everyone playing, give it 100% from the 1st whistle to the last..
Hound them down when the have the ball.
Be relentless.
Move the ball quickly and get as many shots off as possible.
IE, all the things we haven't done all season

We play Palace the weekend after their 2nd leg... Which is level after tonight...

So they'll hopefully be knackered from having to go strong (unlike Forest who no doubt can rest players now) and they'll either be out and dejected, or through and minds elsewhere???

Here's hoping either outcome benefits us!
